Modern motor vehicles can contain up to 15% of their sum in polyurethane, we have in the past supplied a wide variety of ‘indoor’ impact pads, these are developed and adjusted in density to match the design specification of the customer.
We also supply flexible foam inserts for vehicle inner door panels, centre consoles etc, working closely with customer designers we have the ability to mould the most complex of shapes.
The PU systems we use are varied in use and variety to the extent that we can mould feather light cushioned parts to structural chassis components.

We are able to mould medium density structural foam parts that allow yacht makers to produce high specification sandwich type hulls, this gives a very light structure coupled with incredible strength, the added advantage of this type of foam system is that its density is significantly less than water, or to put it another way; it floats.

As with automotive, rail carriages use PU systems in various guises, from Flexible seats to Elastomer shock absorption components; we have completed numerous interesting projects in the past not least of which was participating in the re-engineering of several 1980’s carriage doors with little but a trashed original door for reference.
